Welcome to Pry House Farm
We welcome guests to our farm, set in beautiful Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Pry House Farm is a working dairy and sheep farm that offers self-catering holiday cottage accommodation to travellers seeking a unique guest house experience.
The self-contained cottages are both converted from farm buildings, fully furnished and well-maintained, ideally located to offer great views of the surrounding countryside. ‘The Sheep Fold’ accommodates five people and is complete with original features, including a fireplace and flagged stone floors. ‘The Stable’ is uniquely designed with a split level patio and an open plan kitchen, for a more modern setting.
Wi-Fi in the cottages
Anyone who has stayed with use before might remember the limited Wi-Fi coverage we had in the cottages. This has now changed following the installation of some new wireless routers in the cottages. Now you can enjoy sending photos of the beautiful scenery back to your friends at home!
We’re starting to add 360° views of the farm to the website. First up is the exterior of the cottages, and the interior of The Sheep Fold. We hope these give you a good feel for what the cottages are like before you visit.
Tour de France 2014
The Tour de France rolled through the Dales in July 2014 and was watched by huge crowds of people! It was a fabulous weekend, and is sure to bring many people back to ride the same route the peloton rode! Click here for photos. Don’t forget, Pry House Farm is at the foot of the infamous Buttertubs Pass, so if you’re looking to follow the route taken by the tour, Pry House Farm is a perfect base.
